My Exchange
Thing
This is little
gadget you can make with supplys from a local craft store.
Its used to
keep track of food exchanges. Sort of like Richard Simmon's
"FoodMover".
It only costs a couple dollars to make and you can keep it in your
pocket or use
it as a key chain. Its also a great thing to fidget with.
After you eat, just slide the colored beads from the bottom of the "Thing"
to the top.
Differen't colors are for different food groups. Red=fruit, green=
vegetable,
and so on.
Clear=water( one bead for each 8 oz glass). The numberd beads
are for
exersise.
One bead for each ten minutes of exersise. Wrap a rubber
band around the
"Thing" after
you slide the beads so keep it from getting messed up.
